Hamjambo! (Hello)

Hey everyone! For those of you who don't know me, I'm Molly. I am a Rhode Island native and currently a junior at the University of Vermont majoring in Wildlife Biology and minoring in Geospatial Technologies. I have traveled all over the world from Australia to the Arctic Circle, but the one place that I have always wanted to go, since as long as I can remember, is Africa.

Pure excitement is an understatement for how I feel about living in a field station in Tanzania for three and a half months. In high school I volunteered at the Roger Williams Park Zoo with the African animals so I am most anxious to see the species that I worked with in captivity, in their natural habitats. I think i might pass out when I see any of the big cats so I'll try to get some pictures but I cant make any promises.

Words cannot express my excitement to be sharing this experience with Kaity Ripple, a fellow wildlife enthusiast from UVM. We will be posting to this blog as often as possible to keep everyone updated on our well being and adventures!
